I think PCC is a little high for 5A.
Also I would hate to think Boyle is better than Bell, Whats the heck is up with that!!!!
Nice to see Pineville at #9 for 1A!!
HB0669 Wrote:Also I would hate to think Boyle is better than Bell, Whats the heck is up with that!!!!

I know. To me the JC game proved that. Not dissing Boyle Co at all because we all know their Top 2 team in 4A.

Boyle Co 36
JC 29

Bell Co 42
JC 18 ( 2 TD's came with last 5 min in the game when we had 50/50 Varsity and JV defense in )

With 5 min left in the game the score was 35-6 Bell Co. Bell's 100% Varsity D didnt even give up a TD against JC.
I'm loving all the Mountain teams in the 3A poll!

I totally agree!

I think BellCoBobcats09 kinda proves the point there.

I love to BOLD the Mountain teams. Seems like we are getting more well known in the state now.

Yeah I like that, the Mountain teams need to be made more well known so these kids can get some much deserved exposure!

Yeah.
I see your point.
They beat Casey county (4-1), Breathitt (3-2), Logan WV (4-1), and of course Knott County (0-4).

I suppose you think Harlan County should be #1 and everyone else should move down one with PCC falling out.

Harlan lost to Pulaski(3-1) and beat and Leslie County(1-3) along with 2 Virginia teams one that's 2-2 and ranked 175th in the State and the other I couldn't find any records for.
There was a listing on wikipedia about one of em though.

Lee High was initially a football powerhouse, making the playoffs in their first season and reaching the state championship in 1990. Lee lost the game to Tabb High School in the last minutes of the game, 21-14. In recent years, the school football team, the Generals, have won only a handful of games, not making playoffs since the turn of the century.

Perry is legit and until they get beat they deserve their spot.

Just found the other teams record.
Lee County - Jonesville, VA(0-3)
Their other losses was to Powell Valley, VA(the other VA team Harlan County played) and Middlesborro(2-3).
Given Johson Central's schedule I feel they should be right behind or right above Pulaski County, but being an underdog is not so bad. Time will tell which is the better team.

You are correct Sir!
How is it that Ashland Brazzer is number 8? Last year they were picked high and got beat badly in an "upset" loss to Dixie Heights (15) in the first round of the play-offs. Could this again be another Ashland team that does not live up to the hype? I think so because the level of talent in eastern ky is not as solid as the talent from other areas.
