I'll take Harlan in this one.
I'm not sold on them yet, though.
I think that it's a matter of time before they get figured out.
I hope they prove me wrong, but I think it's just a matter of time.

He's a Perry County Central fan I think and he's just mad because the Bears pushed all those 6 feet 3 or 4 inch, 300-pounders of theirs all over the field last year and "stole one" from them in a nailbiter...isn't that about the gist of it Zaga??? :biggrin:

They did have Robinson last year and he is a handful on defense in the middle. Best I can recall, he went out of the game right before Harlan Co. punched in 2 points for the win over Perry Central last year.

We are getting way ahead of ourselves though. We've got a few more games to prepare for before district play. Leslie CO is 1-1, same as we are. With the loss of another starter, we'll be depending on some of our younger guys to step it up and be focused on Friday nights. These next two games he bears need to come out strong and play like we all know they can! Last week they looked better. Expect to see improvements every game.

After the Hazard game I saw a Leslie County coach at Wendy's in Perry County.
I asked him what the score was.
He says....
55-7....
and just walks through the door.
I didn't ask him who won.
I saw it in his eyes lol

Ed Melton will and is doing a great job, it will take time to build it back up. Coach Koogler had it as low as it can get. I hope Eddie get Mr Couch back involved with the eagles program. Is his brother Russ helping?

I agree. Leslie got pretty doggone bad. They seemed like they had very little interest in improving.
