Kobe is already an assistant coach, Every game he is directing what he wants his team mates to do on the court. SO maybe he may become a coach one day.

Thats what I think. I mean Kobes passion about the game of basketball is unbelievable. I just dont see him being able to walk away from the game completely after he retires.
Anyways.. on the topic of Kobe coaching.. I still don't think he's gonna coach.. In reference to what Wildcat said, nah he doesn't coach in games.. He does tell em' what to do, and that's to give him the ball, not really coaching if you ask me..

And he will pull a Micheal Jordan or something and prbably buy stock in a team or try to buy a small team and take it over. That's as close to coaching as you"ll see from Kobe.

On this topic, how many All-Star players does anyone know of that actually coaches a NBA team? Just a question.
K_Mac Wrote:I think Kobe will be top 3 in the all-time scoring category.
But just to toss this out there, anyone besides me see Kobe becoming the head coach for the Lakers a few years after he retires?
Kobe has a decent chance at top 3 but he if he's ever going to be a coach that will be a while down the road.
Ballers Wrote:Yeah if he wants too.. But let's be real.. Kobe isn't a coach, he's a ball player.
K Mac I'm sorry but thats probably the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

And if he was to coach.. it would be many many many years down the road.. Like 20 years. when he starts getting grey hair and starts taking Viagra.

Thanks you!
Theres no doubt its going to be many years down the road guys. I never said the day after he retires he was going to start coaching. Write it down though, before this man dies, he will coach.
