Wow Sounds like a good pickup for the Hazard team. Is this kid related to the Whitaker that was on Harzard's team a couple years ago? Really good shooter and ball handler.
I doubt it. Josh Whitaker was the guard and he was the son of Hazard assistant coach Eddie Whitaker who is a Letcher County native. This kid who tranferred this year is from Leslie County.

I do not know about "up there" but "down here" there is a great deal of Whitakers spread out through several counties.
Whitaker will help the Bulldgos alittle this year but he will help them more in 2 years. He's a big "young" kid. This will help Hazard in the long run because of Perrys young big kids. Whitaker will be good playing along side Olinger for the next 2 years.
