First-and-10
Ten questions we would like to see answered during Sunday’s game:

Who emerges as the short-term replacement for Brian Leonard while he recovers from his foot injury? Cedric Peerman returned to practice this week but his status remains questionable and the recently-signed James Johnson will get plenty of work.
How much time does Dan Skuta get at fullback and does Dan Coats also get some time there? Joe Tronzo had a solid debut against Dallas as Fui Vakapuna rehabs from a shoulder injury.
Do we see any more separation in the battle for the final receiver spots and can Matt Jones continue the momentum he had against Dallas? It will be interesting to see if Jones gets plays with the second unit.
Does Carson Palmer try to spread out the looks a little more among his receivers? Four of the five attempts against Dallas were to Terrell Owens. Depending on if the offense can get on track, there should be more looks for Chad Ochocinco and first-round pick Jermaine Gresham
With Rey Maualuga returning to action, how does that influence the rotation at linebacker? This should be the first opportunity to see how Maualuga, Michael Johnson and Dhani Jones are used in different packages.
How much does Carlos Dunlap play? He had a solid week of practices after missing a week due to a concussion.
How will the kicker rotation play out tonight? Dave Rayner has been the early leader due to Mike Nugent missing over a week due to injury. Rayner was impressive on kickoffs last week, getting both into the end zone, but has been inconsistent on field goals.
After Jordan Shipley’s 63-yard punt return late in last Sunday’s game, how does that influence the punt and kick return rotations? Special teams coach Darrin Simmons said early in the week that he expects it to remain the same. Bernard Scott will start off at kick returner followed by Adam Jones and Andre Caldwell. Quan Cosby will start off at punts followed by Jones and Shipley.
What can we expect out of the Broncos tonight? It’s a banged up unit that is down to its fourth string running back in Lance Ball. No team has been hammered more by injuries during camp than Denver.
When do we see Tim Tebow? Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn will be the first two quarterbacks but Tebow should get in late in the second quarter. He might also see some action with the first team early if coach Josh McDaniels decides to show some Wildcat plays with Tebow.
