The Chicago Bulls announced the signing of center Omer Asik, who has spent the last five seasons in the Turkish Basketball League.


Asik, 24, is 7-foot, 255 pounds and a two-time Turkish League All-Star.
He originally was a second-round draft pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2008.

^LOL.. Don't know much about the guy.. But a 7 footer is usually pretty impressive in the NBA, IMO.
