1 Wizards – Elisha Justice, PG (Shelby Valley) By far the best available talent. Proven winner
2 76ers – Ashley Hatfield, SG/SF (SVHS) Need a 2/3 Guard to go with Iguodala
3 Nets – Cody Miller, SF (Knox Central) Need Everything, especially a 3. Miller is best at this position.
4 T-Wolves – Tate Cox, PG/SG (Knott Central) They could use help at the guard position.
5 Kings – Madison Johnson, SG (Corbin) Need a shooter to go along with Tyreke Evans
6 Warriors – Matt St. John, C (South Laurel) Need size. -9.7 in rebounding last season. St. John takes care of that.
7 Pistons – Stuart Stamper, SG (Knott Central) Pistons finished last in NBA in 3-Pt Shooting Percentage.
8 Clippers – Tyler Newsome, SG/SF (SVHS) Need an athletic Swing. Brings a winning mentality to a bad team.
9 Jazz – Taylor Newsome, F (SVHS) Need Post players. He fits in on a team with a high basketball IQ.
10 Pacers – Josh Whitaker, PG (Hazard) Need a starting PG and Whitaker can score and dish.
11 Hornets – Jecory Fields, C (Harlan County) They need a defensive post presence. Fields blocks a lot of shots.
12 Grizzlies – Isaac Wilson, PG (Corbin) Looking to upgrade the PG position. Wilson makes things happen.
13 Raptors – Maris Hovee, C (June Buchanan) They need a Center. Hovee is very dynamic for her position.
14 Rockets – Chad Cowan, F (Middlesboro) Yao is always hurt. Cowan blocked a school record 134 shots last season.
15 Bucks – Deron Terrill, G (Wolfe County) Need help scoring. Need a back-up at the 1 and 2. Terrill will fit.
16 T-Wolves – Tyler Mullins, F (Perry Central) They have a need for a Forward. Athletic post player can help.
17 Bulls – Chris Noble, SG (Perry Central) Need a 3-pt threat. Noble shot 44.3% from behind the Arc last season.
18 Heat – Jordan Amis, PG (Perry Central) Heat need upgrades all around, Amis can get everyone going.
19 Celtics – Matt Watkins, SG (South Laurel) If Ray Allen leaves, they'll need a shooter to replace him.
20 Spurs – Brad Bargo, C (Lynn Camp) Duncan needs some help around the rim. Bargo has the size.
21 Thunder - DJ Wilson, F (Clay County) Need some help in the paint.
22 Trailblazers - Nick Noble, PG (Breathitt Co.) So many young pieces on this team. They need a distributor
23 T-Wolves - Blaine Green, G (Middlesboro) Great value pick here. Athletic player, best left on the board.
24 Hawks – Kendale Reed, SG (Clay County) Don't really need much. Reed is insurance if Joe Johnson leaves.
25 Grizzlies – Lucas Frasher, F (Lawrence Co.) Depth in the post is a big concern. Frasher is underrated.
26 Thunder – Michael Burchett, G (P'burg) Can light it up. Will provide depth.
27 Nets – Adrian Wardrup, G (North Laurel) Likes to attack the basket. He will fit in.
28 Grizzlies – Cody Varney, F (Shelby Valley) More Depth at the Forward position.
29 Magic – Brad Marsee, G (Barbourville) Marsee is insurance if they can't sign one of their Free Agent guards
30 Wizards – Jordan Newman, F (Betsy Layne) Athletic Big man is a nice value pick here.

It's a verrrrrrry slow sports time in the mountains right now.

Ballers Wrote:Kinda stupid.. not realistic at all.

Why?

Like I said, it was done out of pure fun.

Show a sense of humor.
Fun stuff...wish there was more of THAT on BGR instead of the constant bashing of particular players or questioning their efforts. Hats off to Archer for making me smile today.
If not for the one year of college Tate Cox would really have gone 4th this year in Wes Johnson's spot.:rockon:
I thought it was pretty creative. Nice work Archer!

* I really thought the Raptors pick was funny Hovee, she was a great athlete.
