Who are the teams to beat?
Shining stars are the defending champs (as DSAS last year) and with the addition of Kimbro and Fucci, should still be the favorite until somebody beats them. The Truth is supposed to be loaded up, and the DSAS are always tough. There is a record field of entries this weekend. Who are the other teams to watch? There are always a couple of teams out of louisville and Northern Kentucky that can play, who are the players and teams to watch?
Should be a very competitive weekend
SS-Davis has a 8-5 record so far this year, and one of those losses is to DSAS. Just because SS-Davis (last years DSAS) won state last year does not mean they are the favorite until someone beats them.

Oh yeah, someone did beat them. I'll go with DSAS this year.
Just found out that even though Ruben Bluford is 17 as of 9-01, he will not be allowed to play as they are not letting any seniors compete this weekend regardless of age. Tough Loss for DSAS as Ruben is a big factor on the team, as is Jake Ison who will have prom, but will show up Sunday
- if DSAS can survive that long.
Deondre Mcwhorter is going to have to have a big weekend for DSAS.
Jake Ison is a big loss for them.
He is one of the best rebounders i have seen go through EC
With exception of the Fab 5 that they had the last 5 years.. they could do it all
In games last night, DSAS beat Ky Takeover
and Ky Blazers won out over the Truth

DSAS plays Wky Elite Today
Hey Shooter

Any idea when Jaylen Beckham or Chane Behanan play today?

Thanks

[INDENT]In the 17s, Bulldogs won tonight and will advance, as well as SS-Davis. Team Kentucky fought hard to come back on the Royal Family but came up short. Royal Family beat SS-NKY earlier tonight by about 14. DSAS defeated Clay Co as well tonight.

ss-davis survived a grueling 6 game stetch this weekend to win the 17u title. Lot of exciting basketball this weekend, included the 133-130 triple overtime win over the ba hoyas that may go down as the best game ever at the KBA!!
A lot of talent in this class, and DSAS went down in the semi finals to blow their chance for a rematch with the SS -Davis
congratulation to SS-Davis
and on to July
Congrats to the SS-Davis team on winning the 17u AAU at the KBA this weekend. Stenzel and Purvis of GRC is on this team along with Knipp of Elliott Co, also Kimbro, Shanklin, Abel and Gains .
