* Mercy 58, CAL 47, final: Jaguars score the final 13 points of the game, getting three huge steals from Ellen Sholtes along the way. No. 8 Mercy (23-8) will face No. 1 Marion County in the first round of the Girls' Sweet 16 at 2:30 p.m. EST Wednesday. Sholtes finished with 16 points to lead Mercy. Juliann Miller added 14, and Therese Montano had 12. China Dow (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Antonita Slaughter (14 points, eight boards) led No. 13 CAL (25-7).
