* Male 76, J'town 68, final: The No. 15 Bulldogs (16-13) advance to face No. 1 Ballard (28-4) in Monday's 8 p.m. championship game. Kevin Glenn scored 22 points, D'Carlo Hayes had 19 and Tony Horne added 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Male. Thomas Jackson (19 points) and Trey Porter (18 points) led No. 8 J'town (22-8), which had reached five straight regional finals.

The two more storied programs square off again in the regional finals.
Another upset in the wild and woolly 7th region. That region was loaded all year long, it's not a shocker than someone other than Ballard and Trinity will be in the finals.

I wouldn't really consider this an upset. Maybe from a ranking standpoint, but Male was as high as #9 in some preseason polls.

They struggled early in the season with some injuries to key players but they've been on a roll since they got healthy.

Congrats to the Bulldogs on the W.
No upset here. Only team in the entire region that could be considered an upset was if Fern Creek beat someone (J-Town in first round was their opponent and they almost beat them). All the other teams are just that good this year. Male has shown all year they were one of the 7-8 teams capable of winning the region.

Consdering how Male's season went. I would label them "the giant killers"....even though they are a 6A school. They are cleaning house with the 7 region favorites this post season
