I want to congratulate the Elkhorn City Cougars on demonstrating the biggest heart, guts, and determination that I have ever seen out of a team! Even though you didn't win on the scoreboard, you don't have a thing to be ashamed of as you took Virgie to the wire. Congrats on a great game!
Great game by the Cougars. They just couldn't keep it up in the 2nd half. Virgie had a couple of players really step up and lead their team to victory.
