What are some of the member's favorite authors? For me it's:

Murder/Mystery: James Patterson, Lee Child, Michael Connelly.
Espionage/Thriller: Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn
Historical Fiction/Alternative History: Harry Turtledove
RL Stein
Thomas Hardy
SE Hinton
Robert Frost
I would have to sayDean Koontz although some of his stuff is way out there.
Patricia Cornwell- Only the Scarpetta books though. I had a hard time getting into the others.
Sue Grafton- Although I have not read any of hers in a while. She does the Alphabet books. All of her books have a one word title that coincides with the letter she's on. They are about a PI. Not kids books.:Geek:
Dorothy L'amour
I read WAY too much to have a favorite author.

Keith Ablow writes some great forensic novels...

I have really enjoyed some books by:
Graham Joyce, Garrison Keillor, Markus Zusak, Ryan White....many, many others.
John Steinbeck
J.K. Rowling
Richard Shenkman
T.S. Eliot
Mick Foley
Matt luke John Job its a collection
Art Vandalay
I also like Harry Turtledove, and I'm also a big fan of the late Shelby Foote.
