I may be getting confused with another all state team, C-J all state team is voted by coaches across the state. I will check the paper when I get home.

That is correct.
This is the first time since 1971 that neither Trinity nor St. X has person on the first team of the C-J all state team.
Congrats to all the kids! We're very proud of Lawrence Co's Ben Preston 1st team, Shane Pack 3rd team Lucas Frazier and former Dog Boone Goldsmith Hon Mention. There are a couple more that were also deserving but we're proud of these kids not only how the represent on the field but more importantly off!
Im sure there are alot of people who think there is alot of kids left of this list that deserve to be. I think that way as well. But congrats to all who made this list.
