4 star corner Anterio Sloan has told CatsPause.com that he has decided to attend the University of kentucky. He said that it was the academic side of things he liked, he said it was education first but he looked forward to playing football for the cats. Sloan is a 5-9 165 pound corner he runs his 40 in 4.4 and is rated the #20 cornerback prospect by Rivals.com which is the position that the cats really need to upgrade with the possible departure of star Trevard Lindley, Sloan chose UK over Mississippi State. UK's secondary coach was the primary coach that he said recruited him.
UK also lands 3 star CB Dale Trimble out of Gadsden, Alabama he made his official visit to UK sunday morning and decided to end his recruitment he said " UK was the first to offer me and they have recruited me the heaviest". Trimble really enjoyed his time in Lexington and he was asked what stood out the most to him and he said " Just the way they treat their players making the grades and graduating thats what stood out the most".
