Any thoughts on this game?
SL is the girls team that will suprise most at seasons end, they are big, fast, handle the ball well at all positions. South by15+
I wouldn't count Whitley out just yet....They are 2-0 this year with wins over Jackson Co. and McCreary Central. Whitley is very young, but they are going to surprise some folks this year with their aggressive play.
SL, to big and too strong. They win it by 15.
South won by 11 pts. but the game was closer than the final score. SL was only up by 3 pts at the half. Whitley was within 5 pts more than half-way through the 4th period. If Whitley would have hit their freethrows and took better care of the ball... they could have won....It's will be an exciting year in the 50th District.
I will have to say Whitley did better then I thought. Sounds like it was a good game.
