Turnovers is what killed Allen Central tonight, most of them being unforced. Pike Central looked good, other than not shooting from the foul line very well, no doubt Johnny will let them hear about that. Congrats to Pike Central and Coach Martin on the season opening victory. As for Allen Central, just the first game, still have room for improvement and a lot of things to work on. Hopefully Mark can get his players to gel as the season improves and the same for Johnny.
caught this game on TV last night, I was wondering why #52 ( can't recall his name but played alot last year) didn't see any action on the floor for AC last night until 1 minute to go in the 3rd quarter. Was he sitting for discplinary reasons he was a good shooter and hustles hard, why wasnt he playing?
How strange it must have been for Johnny Martin to be coaching another team on Johnny Martin Court. Great day for him and a sad day for Right Beaver. Wish him and the Hawks the best this year but the truth be told he should be on the Rebel bench until he decides he doesn't want to coach anymore. Maybe they will make some changes in Rebel land pretty soon and see the error in their judgment and bring him back home. Until then the people in PC land have a jewel of a coach that will eventually make watching a game very fun for the fans and successful as well. It will just take time.
