From Jody Demling's blog:

Looking for a sixth consecutive appearance in the Seventh Region championship game, Jeffersontown and coach Jeff Morrow look solid again this season.

Morrow has what he's called "the best" point guard in the state in Thomas Jackson, who is an exciting and talented senior Division I prospect.

But Jackson has company.

The Chargers have a slew of other returning players, including Richard Kennedy, Tim Jackson, Trey Porter and Dominique Smith.

Morrow also has two of the top sophomores in the state in Desmond Dorsey and Daniel Ross and a few other talented youngsters.

And he's going to let the state see his team.

The rugged schedule includes a game at the Marshall County HoopFest against South Laurel on the opening weekend of the season.

The Chargers will participate in the Defenders of the Station Classic at Bryan Station Dec. 18-22 and host the Gaslight Classic Dec. 28-30. They'll also play one game in the West Virginia Coalfield Shootout on Jan. 9, participate in the LIT and play West Jessamine in the Jaguar Classic at East Jessamine on Jan. 23.

The top regular-season games are at Eastern (Jan. 8), at Ballard (Jan. 22) home against Seneca (Feb. 5) and home against Trinity (Feb. 9).
