An eight yard pass from Patrick Schwierjohann to Connor Lewis cut Carroll County’s lead to 20-19 in the fourth quarter, but Dayton missed the extra point and Carroll scored with eight minutes remaining to put the game away.
Schwierjohann finished with 141 passing yards and two touchdowns, and Lewis had five receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
