How many things has the government gotten right?
Social Security. No. It was supposed to be taxed at a max of 2% on just a small amount of income. Today its approaching 13%, on all income for the majority of Americans.. and guess what? Its not sustainable. It now needs a RADICAL reform to keep it going for the forseeable future.
Medicare, different program, same story.
Wars, only one war since world war 2 has been managed effectively. Costing trillions, and thousands of lives.
The budget, only balanced a few years over the past 50 or so... And it took a GOP house, extraordinary economy, with a Democratic adminstration gridlock to get it done. Joe Scarborough once said that he went to Washington to changed things, but left because he realized it was absolutely impossible to change.. and he wanted to be gone, before it could change HIM.
A debt inching closer to the entire GDP. Financed by foreign nations. Our hard earned money being taxed to make other nations richer. When does it end?
Program after program. I could go for days. Healthcare is broken. Education blows. Liberties curtailed in the name of terror. A constitution that no longer protects the people. States ran by the feds. Billions spent daily on programs on programs that have always been failures.
How much more are YOU willing to take? And how do we fix it all? What kind of world are we going to leave our grandkids? They may never ever forgive us...
Which is why, we MUST act now. Who will lead the coming revolution? :redboxer:
