The big dogs of the state have the only game on Friday. X was the #1 team all season and is considered one of the top teams in the nations. They won a few games closer than they would have liked, but they won and that's all that matters. Trinity showed last week that they are still the cat's meow in 4A after knocking off a Henry Clay team that had been very impressive all season. It's another St. X/Trinity final boys and girls.

St. X won the regular season meeting 48-16 at the same Papa John's Stadium that they will be playing on come Friday.

Trinity is playing their best football of the season right now but St. X is clearly the best high school football team in Kentucky. Since both teams can't lose I am pulling for the Tigers of St. Xavier.
