It was a big weekend for W...U. Hosting their first ever BCS opponent, the Toppers scheduled a blackout in which they asked fans to wear black shirts to the game. The team even added to the effort by wearing black uniforms with white letters and red trim. Among the 20,568 in attendance, the second biggest crowd to watch a game at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium, were a number of recruits for both the football and basketball teams.
