Perry Central breaking the top 10..Looks good
McCeary Central has more votes then Rockcastle and Knox Central in 4A
Looks good to me, Im still having a hard time that Lawrence County is ranked that high in 4A.
Glad to see we (shelby valley) broke top 10 Smile
I have to disagree with the 6A rankings. Male was not very impressive when I watched them play Highlands. I think Highlands beat them be about 4 TD's. I think at the end of the year it will still be X and Trinity. I also like Bryan Station up higher in the poll. Simon Kenton is also too high; they are there because of last years run. SK has a weak schedule this year and I will be surprised if they go very far in post season. Ryle is really being disrespected; they should be in top ten. No way Boone County should be ahead of Ryle. I also think Ryle will put away Conner easily. I expect this poll to change alot over the next couple of weeks.

I doubt any of the NKY 6A teams will make it far in the playoffs. They match up this year with the Louisville district
A small mistake in 2a Prestonsburg should be ahead of Corbin. P'burg is the hottest team in 2A

It was preseason when Highlands played Male but Highlands 1st team Offense put 43 up on Male's 1st Team Defense..... in the first half! It was 43-7 at halftime and the 2nd half was given to the 2nd and 3rd stringers. No way, Male is better than St. X and thats been proven during the season and where it counts, the postseason.
Im glad to see Shelby Valley crack the top 10. It should be a great match up when they play the 7th ranked 4A team in Lawrence.

I would agree with one of the Post above, Pburg should be ahead of Corbin, and a close second in total votes with Fort Campbell... I dont think it matters as I belive that FC will win state for the 4th year straight though.

Some Ranking are scary though.

3A West Carter ahead of Breathitt.....I mean i know BC has lost a couple but come on, The Bobcats would be the comets of west by 50+

3A Herny Co got a first place vote, they have played the easiast schedule ever, with Pike Central being their sig. win, and they only won by 14..other wins over Trimble, Owen Co and South Oldham.

6A Male barely beats Western barely and then beat Central in the 4th qtr, Both of these teams are a good and great programs, but I still believe the Bulldoggs have no chance against X and T....Male also got embarrased by Highlands Pre-Season

1A Bissop Brossart cracks the top 10....fellas, theses guys beat Besty Layne on a last second play, they have also beaten bracken co.........and Jenkins......You mean to tell me that Traditional powers like Pikeville, Raceland and Painstville are not as good as these guys.
i guess whitley will have to beat Letcher and Perry to get back in the top 10Confusedhh:

I was also surprised by the complete lack of respect for Ryle, and the inclusion of Brossart in 1a and NewCath in 2A. This poll is based on nothing but past history or shiny perfect records against nobodies.
allen central is 6th lol
i cant wait until they play somebody good in the playoffs unless somebody beats them before that
whitleys only problem is that theyve played a tough schedule so far. there on the same level with letcher and pcc, most people think there better than both.
Shelby Valley should be above NCC in 2A
i can't believe lexington Catholic lost to lone Oak 52-49:yikes:
I agree that Pikeville should be up there. In my opinion it will be Pikeville and Hazard again at Regional s, and whoever wins is semi state bound. I think Pikeville should be ranked higher.
I dont care what anyone says but im happy that Brossart is ranked #10. Maybe they dont match up with teams lower then them but I am happy they are ranked they deserve it. Plus a team that has not won prior to this year to come in and be ranked, congrats to the Mustangs. Keep up the good work.
The 4A poll is a joke! Rockcastle 14th in 4A????

Pikeville is 1-2. They have beat Phelps. No way can they be ranked higher. They haven't done anything this year or last year to make anyone believe they are an elite team in 1A.
I'm surprised to see a team other than Trinity or St.X on top of 6A. I seriously doubt Male would put up much of a fight against those 2 teams, but its gotta be a morale booster for those guys,

The bad thing is McCeary Central is in front of them.
