Better i think the 14th gets a little tougher every year

You have got to remember that in the bigger school, and in other parts of the state, kids start out so early, and most of them is one sport and that is it. Here in eastern Ky, you can't get kids to take one sport seriously, but to keep another sport alive in a school, the choose to participate in other sports. A fifth grader isn't committed to staying with just basketball, camps, and conditioning as he get to the 8th grade and into high school. As for the 14th Region, we as a region have what we have, and whoever wins the region will go there and will represent the region well. That is why football is the sport of eastern ky, because most school use wrestling and track to help there players. Unless you have natural basketball skills it doesn't help you. Kids just choose to play other sports, and there is nothing wrong with it.
