3 games were played. Freshmen, JV, and Varsity. Freshmen and JV went three sets with AC winning. Varsity game was dominated by the Ladycats of Betsy Layne. They defeated the Rebels 2-0. Two of the top teams in the region. Good luck to Betsy Layne as they travel to Belfry on Thursday and also good luck to the Rebels down at state this weekend.
yea there was no stopping the train. BL was probably mad over the all A and came out guns blazing at home

Congrats to Betsy Layne. Allen Central was just out coached and out played.
Even mad trains can run into other trains. so don't come out thinking you got everything in the bag yet. ACHS is still underated in the minds of alot of people!
It is good to know that there are people with good sportsmanship that wishes other teams good luck!

No one said anything about Betsy Layne having it in the bag. I'm sure they are working just as hard as any other team in the region is to improve.
& Allen Central is underrated, as most people didn't think they would do as well as they are after losing 8 seniors.
Allen Central just handed Betsy Lane their first conference loss 2-0, 25-22 and 25-20. Seniors Kelsey Jones and Jaimie Mullins were honored before the match. Kelsey Jones showed why she is rated 2nd in the state in blocks according to Max Preps. She must have blocked them at least 7 times. It was a good match for the Rebels. They now have 23 wins, five in the conference.
