Yes...Holmes will be playing in the King of the Bluegrass from 12/17-12/22.

That's a tough schedule! Few easy games, McCreary, Clay, Bourbon and Sayer (District opponent); but the rest is extremely tough. However, this is the type of schedule Scott Co. needs to be playing with the talent they have.

I predict they will win 30 games this year.

Anytime you play in the 11th region you're going to have a tough schedule with in region opponents alone. It's good to see they're playing in the BBC at Myrtle Beach. They'll see some top notch competition down there. I also like the scheduling of Norcross, GA. They are traditionally a Georgia power.

Would have liked to see them in some big in state tournaments though like the LIT, KOB, or Lexcath tourney. For whatever reason, Billy Hicks always elects not to play in those tournaments. Maybe trying to keep the top teams from seeing them until the state tourney? I also think the Laurel Co Hoopfest or Marshall Co Hoopfest would have been nice events for them to get in to since they'd likely play a tough out of state team.

Either way, SC is playing a schedule that will prepare them for a deep post season run.

On 12/11 Clay County actually plays Henry Clay not Scott Coounty as is posted above. Scott County plays Corbin on 12/11 at Clay County.
