The Lady Cougars beat Pike Co Central 2-0 (21-9 21-8), and the beat the Lawerence Co Lady Bulldogs 2-0 (21-6 21-6)

LCC went on to the semifinals and defeated Allen Central 2-0, 25-13 and 25-19. This was a highly emotional game for the Lady Cougars as a rivalry has developed between these two teams. In the finals, LCC played Betsy Layne again who came out ready for revenge and defeated the Lady Cougars 25 -23 and 25 -17. LCC was somewhat emotionally exhausted and did not play well. Hats off to Betsy Layne for rebounding from their earlier loss to LCC on Saturday and coming back and beating them in the championship. Betsy Layne is by far the best team in the 15th region.

The 15th region is better than the 13th region. Corbin had a good volleyball team last year.
