You may think that's the last you've seen of Brett Favre(notes) on an NFL playing field but don't count this guy out just yet.
After all, he told the NFL Network's Steve Mariucci that he's still working out and throwing the ball. So don't be surprised if the point comes that Favre's arm starts to feel stronger, he starts to make rumblings about returning.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press, which has been following this Vikings story extremely closely, is already predicting that Favre will be ready to go when some other team's quarterback eventually gets hurt, like, say, New England's Tom Brady
Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
Let this madness end please! Stay home Brett. Be a analyst or a QB coach. You have nothing else to prove.:please::HitWall:
This makes a lot of sense for Brett. Let's face it, he wants to play, but he only wants to play in the playoffs. He was just not confident enough that the Vikings could be that team. I see him on a playoff contender who loses their QB (which happens every year), and he steps right in. It will need to be a team with a strong running game to make this happen.
Maybe he could play every other Sunday like Randy Moss used to.lol
