This title is misleading...the game actually went 6 innings and was a good game thru 4 of them when PBurg was up 2-1... then like they have done a lot this year (including the district championship game) they left their pitcher in too long, added a couple defensive errors and let the game get away from them.

I agree.

Prestonsburg players have no reason to hang their heads after this one. They had another good season and finally won a regional tournament game and thats something that hasn't been done at Prestonsburg in quite some time.

The weather hasn't been helpful throughout this tournament. Having to finish a game on the "next" day will tend to throw momentum off and change the outcome. P-burg started out strong but like earlier said, a few errors costed them. They are a very talented team whom should not be ashamed of their accomplishments.

Schoolcraft seemed to have a better rythem on Thurs. night than he did on Friday, could have been a different game or at least a closer one had they been able to finish that night. Team needs to be proud of theirselves, been a long time since P'burg won a Regional game.
Congratulations to Billy Robinson and Chris Schoolcraft for making the All Regional Team.
Great group of Seniors that I'm sure will be missed next year.
