I think what he posted was the Kentucky East all stars and usually only 2 or 3 Seniors make the senior squad and 2 or 3 jr.s make the jr. squad. I think last years sr.'s was Brewer, Pelfrey, and cook.
Has anyone heard about the rosters?

Brett Pittman from Middlesboro and Ricky Bowling from South Laurel didnt make the roster?? IMO Pittman was the best pitcher and Bowling was the best hitter in 13 Region !! I see coach Smith sure looked out for his boys from Bell.
Not even one player from Mboro.Jake partin should made junior team.this wouldnt be payback to Mboro for not leting coach smith back in Mboro would it?

i do think bowling was probly the best hitter/overall player but pittman best pitcher? hes great definately not saying he isnt but as good as adams or martin from sl? or even griffen from clay? king from central is also tough.
I can name 5 pitchers that had a better season than Pittman: 1)Adams -S.L.2) Clifford-Whitley 3) Vorbeck-Corbin 4) Wilson - Clay Co. 5) King- Knox 51/2) The lefty from Middlesboro

excluding the championship you can also say greer.

Just stating facts, Pittman is a good player, but not the best pitcher on his team. The lefty IMO had a better year and Billy said that he wasn't healthy all year. Throwing 90 doesn't make you a great pitcher, control and changing speed does.
Pittman throws 90 but is going to LMU.
Doesn't add up.

Wilson just pitched 3 games for Clay this season and was #4 starter.

facts? You know nothing, Pittman won the best pitcher award this year.Guess who was on the hill when Harlan County sent us home packing.Pittman got us to region last three years !!Pittman was on the bench this year with his hands tied:devilflam He paid his dues hes been a workhorse for boro for years!!I'm very proud of him and good luck at the next level Brett.
Was he hurt or did the coach mess-up.

just curious but have you ever met anyone on earth besides this hoodlum we call brett pittman?
the dark wizard Wrote:just curious but have you ever met anyone on earth besides this hoodlum we call brett pittman?

No, but I have met a lot of people like you that have mental issues trying to bash a young man. Brett would give you the shirt off his back and help whoever is in need. Since you're from Barbourville, I'm sure you heard that Spencer Greer got jumped by two of his football team-mates. Brett jumped in to help Spencer because he was getting thumped. Or maybe it's just that you're envious that Brett proved you wrong, because you said he would never make it to college ball. It takes one low life person like yourself to try to bash a kid that is trying to better himself and go to college. Brett is in preparing and training for college ball. So, he doesn't have a second of his time for you to waste.

Posting stories based on heresay and not facts is another form of bashing, especially when names are used.
This is a public forum, so remember to base comments on either opinion or facts. Not idle gossup!:dontthink

well thats the first time ive herd that story. i neve said he couldnt play college ball. i would be surprised if he didnt. just saying you never post about anything but your son.
Why even discuss the kids from the 13th? They didn't even field a team.
The 14th and the 15th plaed each other in a double header.
Game 1 was a pitching dual. !5th 1, 14th 0. can't remember who started for the 14th but remember Freeman and Grigsby both pitching well. JC's Mike Conley got the win going 4 innings scattering 3 hits and I think 5 K's. I think he walked only 1. Paintsville's Jake Cyrus pitched innings 5&6, allowing 1 hit striking out 4 with 0 walks. JC's Dillon Baldwin got the save allowing only 1 hit.
Game 2, looked like both squads were running low on pitchers but 14th team took advantage and got the win 5-2.
