How many former baseball players ended up coaching baseball in this area? I can think of a few.
Bryan Dean: Letcher Central
Chris Varney: Powell Co.
Russell Melton: Leslie Co.
Jamie Couch: Knott Central

Allen Central is currently coached by Josh Todd and his assistant is Justin Jacobs. Both played at ALC. A few seasons back they were coached by Ken Johnson and Byron Hall- both ALC grads and players.
On of Jeremiah Shearers assistant coaches is KW Sexton who also played and had a good career at Alice Lloyd.
Harlan County Central's assistant coach, Brian Boggs, played at ALC for a couple of years.
I do believe that Leslie Co's coach played at Alice Lloyd.
Johnson Central assistant coach- Kevin Slone

yes he did.
Jason Smith played at AL and is the asst. coach at Clay Co. He may end up being the head coach next season.
