Senior Matt Coffman and the rest of the Campbell County baseball team knew things were going to be a little different this season.

Eight seniors graduated from last year's 37th District championship team and many of the returning players were going to have to change positions.

"It has been definitely tough, we had a lot of seniors last year," Coffman said. "But, we have a lot of seniors this year and they have stepped up. I don't think we really haven't lost a step. If anything we might have gained a little bit from their desire to be better than the class before them."

The senior class, which includes Coffman and seven others, are currently leading the Camels back to what they hope to be their second consecutive district title.

The Camels strength this season has been their pitching, as they returned four of their top five pitchers from a year ago.

The ace of the staff is Bobby Estes, who finished last season with a 1.11 earned run average....
