I love love this show! Who would have thought that Patrick Dempsey would have been such a hottie? Does anyone remember him from the movie Cant Buy Me Love back in the 80's? He was such a geeky looking kid.
Last night Derek ( Patrick Dempsey) chose to get back together with his wife who cheated on him with his best friend rather than be with Meredith.
i watched the first couple episodes of it.. and it looked like it would be really cool.. Yes i have seen the 80's can't buy me love lol.. he was a geek... specially during the dance lol..
I watched that one lastnight with the 2 people and the pipe...it made me cry a little...but i didnt let anyone see it
That was a cool one with the pipe.
I love this show!!! I cannot believe that he got back together with his wife. I think something will happen and he will get back together with Meredith. This past episode was really sad. They don't usually do that. Can't wait till next week.
I love this show. I can't believe he got back with his wife either. That's insane. I TiVo this show every week.

This past week was sad, I haven't looked but this show better be getting some ratings b/c if they took it away I'd be pissed!!!!!!!!
Here's my question, why wouldn't they just saw the pipe in half in between them? Then they don't have to remove either of them.
98....is everything alright with you? :getwell:

Greys Anatomy is in its 2nd season...I dont think its going anywhere...I like it since its right with my age group...finally a show not about teenagers and with story lines in which I can identify with for the most part....This is one of my favorites along with Lost, Invasion & Nip/Tuck...
Hahahahaha! Check it out, im telling you, it's a good show, and the scenery:omg: is pretty nice too!!!!!!!!!

I never used to weatch TV either, however, the last couple of years and the invention of TiVo has just made me a huge fan of television again.

Ya, 98 tivo is great. I dont have it. But I do have a capture card on my computer. So it serves the same purpose. I forgot to capture the UK game lastnight though. Sad

They would have had to move at least one of them a few inches in order to cut the pipe in between them. When your dealing with a severed aorta its almost if ot impossible to do anything to the patient. If the pipe had the aorta pinched off not allowing bleeding then when you move them the few inches you open it up and they blend out in seconds. This was very realistic myself and batpuff have seen this first hand. We had a gentleman whom was ejected from his vehicle with it landing on top of him about just below his sternum. We had to use the jaws of life to get the car off him. The entire time leading up to do this the gentleman talked to us and didn't really seem to be in much pain. As soon as we picked the car up off him he coded. Since he coded you don't really do much of a survey of the patient but since he had been talking you go ahead and perform CPR. When we arrived at the hospital we found that he had a hole in his back the size of a baseball. The aorta had been severed but the car had it pinched off not allowing the blood to escape and keeping the heart full of blood to allow it to continue to pump to the other parts of the body. When the car was lifted the blood began to flow out the tire causing the blood pressure to drop and resulting in full cardiac arrest.

Sorry to run on but thought this might help you understand it a little better.
Only you catdawg, we could make a movie with all the crap we have been into, that was pretty cool, not that the guy died but the fact that blood was running out of the ambulance floor and out the back door when we got to the hospital.
Remember how long it took us to get it clean. Was even under the steel plate in the floor. That was my first code couldn't forget that one.
Do you remember the trip to the hospital?
Just checked it was 7th in the ratings last week.
