Congrats to Central!! What a great past two years they have had in football and basketball!!
Central's Desmond Brown grabbed a rebound in the right corner and hit Tim Patterson with a pass underneath the basket. Patterson jumps and makes the shot in one motion just before the buzzer to give Central the 71-69 victory.
Alex Morrison hit 9 of 12 three-point tries and scored 27 points to lead Central, which hit 13 of 19 three-point tries for the game. Reserve Marchell Williams hit 3 of 4 three-point tries and scored 13 points, and Patterson chipped in eight points and 14 rebounds.
Quintrel Morris hit 8 of 12 shots and 14 of 16 free throws and finished with 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (19-11). C.J. Mack added 10 points and five assists.
Central, now 15-14 after an 0-8 start to the season, will face the Pleasure Ridge Park-Shawnee winner in Tuesday' 6 p.m. regional final.

Best game I've seen this season. Up and down, up and down...was just a blast to watch. Morrison was unconcious from 3, it was just amazing that Fairdale kept allowing him to get open. Great look down to Patterson for the winning layup too, really set the tone for a night of great basketball.
