No. 1 Elizabethtown 46, No. 3 Nelson County 34 (5th Region): Senior center Alex Jones scored 18 points to lead the Panthers to a region semifinal victory in a battle between two of the top three teams in the state.

Elizabethtown will face No. 12 Marion County in Saturday's region finals.

Samantha Brake had 19 points for Nelson County.
