They should be great with Brooke Wilson and Keeton and Kasey Lewis. They also have some newcomers with Brandi Waggoner she is a very quick guard probally one of the fastest guards next year. They also bring some down low presence with Taylor Riffe the girl is a big banger.
Its looking good for Raceland girls basketball next year, ive heard alot about Brandi Waggoner and her heart and dedication. Greenup's team is looking good next year with their freshman class that includes:
1. Sara Thompson
2. Rachel Smith
3. Britta Cochran
Jazz Seacrest?, the standout basketball player from Raceland???
Trimble is a very good coach. Dont be surprised if Keeton doesnt quit after the garbage that was hurled at her after their district loss. If she plays next year, Raceland would have to be considered in the top five.
Keeton played hard in the district. She shouldnt had let her temper get out of control, but she was fighting for rebounds and diving for loose balls. It was not her fault they lost. The inability to break a press and take care of the ball was the reason. This team throws some of the silliest passes sometimes. It seems like they throw it to get the ball out of their hand. Nobody wants to step up and take charge of the offense. That's were they missed Rachel this year. She could take it to the hoop anytime she wanted.

Why did they not play Freshman or JV ball for Greenup this year ?
They were in eighth grade last year, their going to be freshman next season.

The girl she was gaurding had the best game of her season and made the District team because of it. It was the only game this season she score in double figures. That was probably the reason for her frustration. She could be a good player if she controlled her temper, but that was the reason she moved from Russell to Raceland in the first place so I don't think one year will make a difference in her attitude.

What middle school did they attend ?
Keeton is a good kid over all, but, if Iwas her coach I would have to say find yourself a new sport like ice skating, Tonya harding may be your partner!:ChairHit:
