Middlesboro's Hunter Adams has signed to play at Tusculum College. They have already received the papers (or else they wouldn't have him up on their site) but I've heard he will have a signing ceremony in a few days.

Congratulations to Mr. Sports Overtime!
Congrats.

Greeneville, Tennessee -- about 30 miles SSW of Johnson City (or 60 miles ENE of Knoxville)
Tusculum is not a scrub college, former Steeler and current Chief Ricardo Colclough attended Tusculum.

Tusculum has some of the most fabulous facilities in the country. They have an indoor training facility with a indoor 50 yard practice field with artificial turf and a really nice stadium to play in. Their next door baseball facility is one that most D1 programs in the country can only dream of having, also doubling as the home of a Houston Astros Class A minor league team. It is almost a carbon copy of Applebees Park. Very impressive for a D2 school.
Here in mboro we are very proud of Hunter, a great career here and moving on to a great school in Tusculum. He had some other oppurtunities at larger schools but felt with the recent passing of his grandmother he needed to stay close to home. One of the great players we've seen here in the mountains and once again we are very proud. Congrats Hunter and good luck!

I understand what you are saying, but to play anywhere at the next level after high school in any sport is not a "scrub" situation. Good Luck to Hunter it will be tough stick it out and make M'bro proud.

There are some "scrub" college programs that could be shut down.
