Raptors trade Jermane O'Neal and Jermino Moon to the Heat for Shawn Marion, Marcus Banks, and Cash.
Thoughts?
I'm not so sure. I think it was a matter of the Heat trying to free up potential dollars, then I'm OK if they make a play for a Big man. Oneal could catch lightning in a bottle, but I thik he is done.
I think the Raptors got the better end of the deal. Marion is still fairly young and a good athletic wing man who can rebound very well.
Toronto should benefit from this better than Miami.
heat picked up a senior player in o'neal so i like the trade. they did trade marion though.
The heat got the big man inside they wanted.
i agree with stardust it was about freeing up money. now maybe they can get a good big man.
