I checked that out, just IMO I think the makeownringtone site is less complex.

I make my own via GarageBand.

I use Motorola Phone Tools. It works really well.

I use Audacity

cellsea.com has some people have already made or you can make your own.

I make my own for free.

I get them off of other people.

I download a full song, edit them down to about 30-45 seconds, then use Motorola Phone Tools to transfer them to my phone...

I just play them on my iTunes and copy them to my phone.
