Somerset led Pulaski all game long until the 4th quarter. Winston Hines for Pulaski hit 3 threes in the 4th quarter to give Pulaski the lead. With about 10 seconds left, Pulaski was leading by 1 with the ball. Somerset fouled and Pulaski missed their free throws.
Somerset grabbed the rebound and ran it up court. DJ Townsend threw it inside but it got deflected and almost turned it over. But the ball came back out to mid court with Townsend.
With 0.9 seconds left on the clock... Freshman DJ Townsend threw it up from 30 feet out to beat the buzzer and give Somerset the win! Players and us students stormed the court.
This was an excellent game! The JV game before this ended with Somerset winning on a buzzer beater as well.
