Setty's double-double leads Royals to 63-48 win over Camels
Treg Setty scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Mason County Royals to a 63-48 road win over the Campbell County Camels tonight. There were three lead changes and four ties in the first quarter. Mason County lead by as many as 10 in the second quarter, 11 in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth quarter. The Royals starting guards-Russ Middleton and Keith Downing- had their playing time limited by foul trouble. Downing fouled out in the fourth quarter and only played 10:40. Middleton did not play in the fourth quarter and was limited to 17:27. Middleton scored six points and tied Wesley Jones for sixth place on the Royals' all-time scoring list. Setty scored 15 of his 25 points in the first half. He has had three double-doubles in the last four games. Neal Pawsat scored 15 points. Patrick Nerl was Campbell County's leading scorer with 14 points, Brady Jolly added 13 points. Campbell County center Petey Albrecht suffered an ankle injury with 51 seconds to play in the second quarter and sat out the rest of the game. Mason County returns to action Monday night at Paul Dunbar.

To have Setty, only a sophmore, step up like this when the team really needs a 2nd consistent scorer is huge.

Royals have games Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Going to be interesting to see how the team looks after a tough week of basketball.

Welcome Homeless Camel (I remeber you well from antoher site Wink ). Treg is very solid. I am extremely impressed by him and their other two super soph's, Gilbert and Pawsatt. Pawsatt is a load for anyone to handle.
