Ninth Region All-A Classic

Ludlow advanced to the semifinals of the Ninth Region All "A" Classic. After a close first quarter, Ludlow took control of the game, limiting Newport to just 14 total points over the second and third quarters.

Ludlow junior guard Courtney Turner scored a game-high 15 points.

Ludlow will play Dayton at 6 p.m. Friday at Dayton.
