Russell 6th grade defeated Rose Hill Saturday 31-6. The Royals were just over matched in his game. The typical Rose Hill dominance was just not there against this Russell team. The Rose Hill coaches are very nice and the kids are too. They were just over matched. Rose Hill has 8 players and 3 did not show yesterday. Sad situation.
This makes Russell 9-0 right now and heading into the Boyd County Tourney where they should meet up with a very good,unbeaten Elliot County team.. This should be a show down.
