Go figure- I can't wait for everyone who voted for him to push it off as Bush's fault.

This is my problem with Democrats, and granted it's not all, but they seem to just blame Republicans for the problems in the country but then keep just talking about change and blaming people but do nothing to improve it, the only thing I'm schocked about is that he's not going to heavily tax the rich.

Everybody criticize me and yell at me, but I'm not the one YOU elected.
All I know is that Obama is moving in the right direction, if he can keep drifting to the right we might actually have a decent President on our hands, although that would basically mean he lied about everything to the sheep to get their vote. But oh well, they are sheep and they will get over it.

Moving in the right direction? How do you figure? It says that he's not changing anything, and that the new President looks like the old one.

He's not even taxing big oil, which they're making tens of millions of dollars a day.

Democrats all blamed Bush and Republicans, but now they won't take responsibility when Obama doesn't fix it, or makes it worse.

I hope I'm wrong and he does fix it, but we'll see.
LOVE your avatar, BFritz !!!

You must be a fellow Browns fan... Wink

Well he he kept the SoD in place, good move.

Just one quick question for ya, how does increasing the taxes on Oil companies benefit anyone in any way? Why would you want it done then? Just so they make less money? I thought this was America, a capitolist country.

If he truly does cut back some of the pork spending, and forces companies to be responsible for their actions, or go under, then I think he will be successful. However, hopefully he will step back from some of the social issues. I don't like his plan to allow abortions at anytime during the pregnancy.

Also don't like his idea to make all illegals citizens. I have friends who goto school here on student visas from Mexico. Its hard for them to even renew those, and they can't even work off campus while here. Also, its about 50/50 whether or not they will get work visas or be allowed to become citizens when they are finished with school. Yet we are going to reward the criminals with citizenship, while people like my friend who work hard, educate themselves, and are not a drain on our country, will most likely not be allowed citizenship.

Increasing taxes on big oil companies means more money for goverment funds, and hopefully creatign more jobs in things such as improving roads and things.

I didn't vote for Obama and I think that we're ****** with him in office, but this is one move that I agree with.
Ask an average doctor about all the paperwork required by Big Insurance. Ask the average pharmacist about Big Pharma and Big Drug. Ask the average Congressman/woman: they express "deep concern" and "vital conviction" about healthcare issues. Nothing changes. Same with reliance on foreign oil (since early '70's at least). Politics is a complicated, intricate business. Imagine one politician trying to BARELY satisfy all the range of voices and opinions just on BGR...
LOL You Righties are crackin me up! I'm not suprised at all at what Obama is doing. All one needed to look at was how he was elected to the Harvard Law Review and what he did after he was elected.

I saw this coming a long time ago. He will Govern from the center as did Clinton. The extreme right or left is not good for America.

Now, if he should win a 2nd term in office, that is when you may see some of the Liberal Leftists getting their cups filled.

But for now, Barack will choose his battles wisely, and try to repair a brokendown country.

Our govt. doesn't need more of our money. They have plenty, they just need to spend it wisely. BTW any tax increase on big oil will be passed onto us via gas prices.

First of all our country isn't broken down. And Washington interference is why we are in such trouble now anyways. They need to keep their hands out of things and just hold people responsible for their actions. Spend money wisely, and ensure our rights and safety.

I still think he will be a little too far left, because he has to keep his base happy, plus he does have a fairly socialist agenda.

BTW did you just compare the Harvard Law Review to the Office of the President? Rolleyes

Nope. It's apparently over your head Beetle.
You don't know nearly as much about Obama as you think.

What? Did he make promises he couldn't keep or did he have everyone elses' name taken off the ballot? :lmao:

Calling me a Righty or Conservative is one of the best compliments you can give me. Thanks!

Something kinda like that.Smile
IMO the far left candidate is moving farther to the right by the minute, but thats just my opinion!

Yes you did, you stated that you knew he was going to do well as President of the United States because of how he did at the Harvard Law Review. Jimmie Johnson was a pretty good coach for the Cowboys, so I guess we should vote for him in 2012.

I know that Obama has been brought up through one of the most corrupt political machines in the world. That in most of his elections he used extremely dirty tactics to win. I know that he has surrounded himself with very questionable people. Which include his wife. One of her best friends is Ayer's wife, but of course, Obama doesn't know him at all eventhough their wives are best friends. Seems to me like you're the one who doesn't know much about Hussein.
