The Pond Creek Nation lost one of its most respected and favorite sons in Ron May. Ron passed away last week at the age of 69. Ron was a former defensive coordinator during the Roddy years. He was defensive coordinator during the magical 1979 season when the Pirates went to the AAA finals. Ron leaves a host of former players friends and family and will be terribly missed by the entire Pond Creek Nation. Hats off to one of the best coaches and men I ever knew. I hope you guys have time to mention it. Ronnie Paul will know him from the banking industry. Thanks
