Ian Welch - Johnson Central
Welch is in a class by himself

Andrew Elkins of Belfry is the best of the rest.
Ian Welch from Johnson Central
Josh Mullins-Pikeville
Lance Simmons-Harlan Co. Black Bears
Ian Welch is hands down the best!
Daniel Harmon- Pikeville
Hunter Adams of Middlesboro!
Josh Mullins by far. He is probably the fastest player in Eastren Ky, and he's one of the toughest too. The kid isnt scared to hit anyone, and has great ball skills.
Here is a list of players in the Mountains with the most INT's of a min of 4...

Hunter Adams Middlesboro 4 INT 1 Returned
Ian Welch Johnson Central 7 INT
Trey Belhasen Johnson Central 5 INT
Ben Jackson Clay Co 4 INT 1 Returned
Taylor Deaton Paintsville 4 INT 1 Returned
Ryan Preston Belfry 5 INT
Joe Nichols Pike Co Central 7 INT 1 Returned
Tyler Baker Pikeville 4 INT
Daniel Harmon Pikeville 4 INT
Austin Gearheart Prestonsburg 4 INT
Chris Muse Pulaski Co 5 INT
JP Henderlight Somerset 5 INT
Hunter Adams- Middlesboro
Sophmore Year 6 INT's 2 Returned
Junior Year 4 INT's 1 Returned (was injured in 2 games his Junior year.)
Daniel Harmon from Pikeville was a 3rd team All-State selection last year as a DB. I think he only had 2 balls caught on him all year. Josh Mullins has some of the best natural instincts I have seen out of a DB. Both are All-State caliber players, not to mention that both of them run in the 4.5's.

Welch from JC has 25 INT's in his career coming into his senior season. He's can set a new state record with a good year. I think the record is 32.....
Allen-Breathitt Sr
Fugate-Breathitt Jr
Haddix-Breathitt Jr
All Had 3 or 4 Int's Last year.

I was told Mullins is in the 4.4s.

With all due respect there is noone in the county Sub 4.5... Mid 4.5's I can believe, 4.5 even or less.... no way
It's hard to get picks when balls aren't thrown your way. Just something else to think about.
Ian Welch
Ian Welch and Daniel Harmon
All the above are good DB's, but Harmon, Mullins, and Welch standout above the rest.
What about the DB's From Breathitt...

Allen 6'0 180 Will be Key in the Secondary and WR
Haddix 6'0 185 All-State Honorable Mention last Year(DB)
Fugate 6'2 220 All-Mountain RB
