Lawrence Co trailed 5 to 3 going into the top of the 6th With runners on 1st and 2nd the ump put the game in a rain delay. After about 45 min rain delay Jordan Mill drove a shot to Rt center scoring 2 runs and was threw out trying to stretch a double to a triple. LC scores one run in the bottom of the 7th to win the game.

Lewis Michael Pitched for LC and gave up 4 runs in the top of the 5th to let clark co take a 5 - 3 lead. Jeff Cyrus came in the top of the 6th and finished out the game.

Oh want everyone to pray for Coach Keeton he was not able to be at the game due to an illness with himself.
CANNONSBURG — Boyd County’s Derby Classic kicked off with a Friday night dogfight. The Lawrence County Bulldogs (16-5) outlasted the Clark County Cardinals, 6-5, but it came down to the final inning at Larry Addington Field at Boyd County High School.

The rain became a factor in the sixth inning, when it delayed the game for about 50 minutes.

Lawrence County already had two men on base in the bottom of the sixth and when play resumed, both Jeff Cyrus and Tim Hayes crossed the plate on a two-run double off of Jordan Miller’s bat to tie the game at 5-5.
