I agree that how good a high school squad is, mostly depends on what experience they've had in middle school. If you have a strong feeder school squad, then the high school squad is bound to be good. Thats why Belfry, Pike Central, Paintsville, and Pikeville will all be difficult to beat in the upcoming years.
I agree Paintsville has a lot of talent coming up and all the other squads you mentioned are good squads, but I don't think you can count out the talent coming up to Johnson Central High School from their middle school team. I don't know if you had a chance to see them this year, but they made a lot of high school squads look like middle school.
