Abrams with 1,303 yards and 24 touchdowns
David Bailey, good runner, fast and can catch
Adam Bates second leading rusher last year and fast as lighting
They should be pretty darn good. The have good depth behind those guys as well and Cordle should have a good year as the QB.

Like so many have said, though, for them to have a great year it all starts up-front on the line. (Just ask a certain NFL almost undeated team's QB)

Anyway, if the replacements for our center and the 2year starters hicks and foster can pick up where those 3 left off, then Abrams, Bailey and Bates should have teams seeing the backs of their jerseys alot this coming season.

And I'm sure Coach Smith and the others will start molding them into shape come spring practice.

Hope not! They'd go to jail then. Honestly though they should be really good next year.
Have to agree with the post. Hard to dismiss the backfield that will be there.

Throw in a QB that has no INT all season last year in varsity and what do you have??
Pro'lly one of the most diverse, explosive and intertaining backfields on the field on a Friday night.!!!!!!!!!!!
This year's team will have a lot of shoes to fill on defense and offense. Yes, we have some great talent returning in the back field but we need the strength on the line too!!Speed and vision are a gift, but "team-work" has to be learned. Don't think we will air the ball out to much, however, the backs we do have can catch the ball under pressure. I would say look for more speed than strength next year. I hope we have both the strength and the speed. Right now is the time that the boys should be "beefing up" in the weight room and start getting serious if we are to have a chance this year. I think Ivan will key on a back that has the ability to block for a runner and carry up the middle to take the hard hits. Bender, did a great job last year. But he didn't turn out to be the back that hits the middle with the ball that we are use to. SPEED SPEED SPEED!
Imo P'burg will have the most deadly backfeild with the return of Cranyon and Setser and they will have the Doderder kid that transferred from Paintsville
Russell very well could have the best all around backfield they have ever had as long as you take away the Gross and Clark factor. Bailey has the ability to be a great running back as long as he keeps his head in the game. I think that the backs will make a great triple threat and complement each other.
