With the tiebreaker in the 60th District this year being on who wins the second matchup. the seeding will be determined on Saturday.

The # 1 seed is so vital because that team will pretty much secure a regional berth because Piarist will be the # 4 seed.

Tuesday: Pike Central visits Belfry. Winner claims # 1 seed.

Saturday : Pike Central visits Phelps. Winner claims # 2 seed.


The District is played at Phelps this year.

The District is interesting this year.

Belfry, Phelps and Pike Central could all walk away with the crown.

The 60th is not as stong this year than in the recent past. However the 60th is very exciting to watch.

Due to Belfry beating Phelps last week, the Hornets can't get the # 1 seed.

It's amazing that as streaky as Pike Central has been that they have a shot at the #1 seed. Don't write off the Hawks just yet. This may be a team that finally brings it all together over the next few weeks and because a cinderella in the regional.

I'm gonna say Belfry wins on Tuesday to claim #1 and Pike Central defeats Phelps on Saturday. Don't be surprised though to see Pike Central make an upset in the 60th district tournament.
