Predictions everyone?
PC by 6. I have seen Manual but they are not as good as the Hawks. If the Hawks play their game, they will beat Manual.
Here is a small scouting report on Manual.

Probable Starters

21 (Woodmore) G- Solid Guard; likes to penetrate to the lane
42 (Wilson) P- Best Player; physical. Hits boards hard
54 (Jones) P- Great rebounder; feeds off Wilson

12 (Epps) G- Gets out of control; good defender
15 (Trimble) G- Good shooter; must find her in transition
20 (Johnson) G- Good penetrater; looks for the 3

Subs:
22 (Martin) P- Good Rebounder
40 (Turner) P- Good Rebounder
00 (Klein) G- Good defender; looks to shoot

Didn't see a lot of their game against Shelby but Shelby ran a lot of zone and Manual took advantage of that. When game was out of reach with 4 min to go Shelby go in their face and cause alot of turnovers . However, Shelby would come down and throw one into the stands.

They look to run on offense and rest on defense. Drop back every time on defense. Played half court man and would play hard in spurts. Got tired really easy. They like to go 9 deep, subs come on nearly every dead ball. Due to this Wilson their best player never gets in a groove.

These girls started the second half and probably will against Central.

54- (Avery Jones (6'1) Big Girls, good with her back to the basket, cannot hadle the ball and sometimes they make the mistake and give it to her at the top of the key. She is very lazy. If you push on her enough, she will quit. Gets tired really easy, does not block out, big enough to get easy rebounds by just standing there. Pike Central must put a body on her.

21- (Danielle Woodmore) short, very athletic and a great ball handler. Plays more like a street player. Likes to drive into the lanes and does not jump stop but came up short many times. Tries to hard to make something out of nothing. Must put pressure on her and she will turn the ball over.

15- (Jordan Trimble) she does nothing but spots up behind the 3 point line. If she starts dribbling, she is not looking towards the basket, she doesn't even look at the basket, just dribbles towards where she is going to throw it. Under pressure she can not handle the ball.

12- (TeAira Epps) Can not handle the ball when pressured. Can shoot the ball from outside.

42- (Brittney Wilson) didn't really get into her flow. Made one 3. Got real;y tired in the second half and asked to come of nearly every dead ball.

Defense
- 2-2-1 press
- 2-3 zone
- Man, Plays behind post, Good pressure on the guards
- Plays both Man and Zone off the in bounds
- Over commit and try to steal every pass. Back door is wide open. Played the 2-2-1 press after every free throw. Also ran some 1-2-2. Not a lot of pressure off the press.

Offense
- High to Low w/ posts
- Against Zone run 2 posts and will over load a side with a guard
- They run an offense called DUKE which is a high ball screen for the point guard and then the post player roles to the basket. On that screen the post player does not stand still it is a moving screen every time.

Keys To Victory
- Blocking out/rebounding (allowing only one shot)
- Containing the ball
- Taking care of the ball
- Finishing offensive sets
- Must get the inside game involved getting their big girls in foul trouble which is where all their offensive production comes from.
- Pressure the ball and they will commit turnovers.
- Let them run the floor and get them tired and we then can run early offense.
- Most of all watch their transition game they like to run the floor and we must get back on defense slid over and take the charge on every opportunity.

Pre-game Pep talk

This is the keys to success tonight girls, this is yours to win. We must come out with our 110% attitude take care of the ball and play hard on defense. Lets contain the tempo and get them into our type of game. Girls everyone wants to see us fall, it would be like the fall of Rome to them. They want to see you fail, the do not like Eastern Kentucky teams. Last year to them was luck, to you, me and all of Eastern Kentucky it was our faite. We deserve this, we deserve to be known as a top team. We aren't weak, but we are strong, we are not champions until we are victors. Pride runs through our veins not the Blue and Orange but the love for our Mountain Teams. When we are here we are not individuals we are family. Thats the beauty of us girls, we are a family and we make one another stronger. Look at the girl next to you and look closely, thats your best friend out there we are in **** right now. Either we stand up to day and fight our way out of this war or we will fall to our knees in shame. Lets go out there and win...

Now what are you gonna do.
